Job Description

Do you want to help position a global company in the aerospace and defense industry in Sweden? GKN Aerospace is now looking for a Communications and PR Specialist to work with PR and communication to build and strengthen the brand in Sweden.

• Work together with the communications manager and public affairs to strategically plan press work and develop existing practices
• Ongoing contacts with media and journalists on both proactive and reactive issues
• Monitoring the environment/media analysis
• Support the management team and spokespersons in media handling
• Write and distribute press releases and articles with angles tailored for different media types
• Develop and publish press releases, editorial texts, messages, and offer comments in editorial media

Qualifications

• Has a degree in PR, communication, or media
• Has at least 3 years of experience in PR and communication at a senior level
• Is an excellent writer in both Swedish and English
• Is structured, meticulous, and enjoys working in a team
• Experience in crisis communication is an advantage
